If you're having problems finding free journals for reference in doing research, CWU etc, here's a humble guide.
For those who haven't realized yet, not all medical journals require subscription to read the full text. Quite a handful number of journals with high ISI impact factors have some or all of their articles available free of charge, or becomes free after a few months. Nevertheless, some journals still release their articles for free after few years (eg. BMJ, free after 3 years), but perhaps this is still not too badly outdated, I suppose.
For example, certain sections of JAMA are free after 6 months, while the whole content of Physiological Reviews (ISI impact factor 35.00!!!) are free for issues published 6 months earlier, while Journal of Psychiatry and Neuroscience (ISI impact factor 4.123) are actually free of charge.
Here's a shortcut, if you are looking for free medical journal articles, studies or reviews from various kinds of journals available online, visit www.freemedicaljournals.com. The website provides links and guides for free journals available for you to search on.
All the best. May Allah help us all.
